I am transforming the delicate fabric into vibrant works of art. My technique involves applying dyes onto the silk, steam them for hours to be fixed , allowing the colours to flow and blend in a captivating way. By framing this artwork under the museum glass I also enhance the colours and protect the silk from fading. Presenting a sophisticated decorative pieces that celebrate texture and nature.
